Powder Coating Services

Magnum Companies provides in-house powder coating services that improve the durability, appearance, and long-term performance of fabricated metal components. Because we integrate powder coating directly into our fabrication workflow, we maintain tighter quality control and deliver finishes tailored to each project’s functional and aesthetic requirements. As a result, we can ensure consistent performance across everything from architectural elements to heavy-duty industrial components.
Powder Coating Capabilities:
- Single-color and custom color matching
- Textured, matte, satin, and gloss finishes
- Parts up to: 5′ x 5′ x 10′
What is powder coating?
Powder coating is a dry finishing process where we electrostatically apply a finely ground powder to metal surfaces. We then cure the coated parts under heat, which forms a durable, uniform finish. Unlike liquid paint, powder coating creates a thicker, more resilient surface with strong adhesion and excellent corrosion resistance. Therefore, it is widely used for architectural, commercial, and industrial metalwork where both appearance and long-term performance matter.
How it works:
Powder coating projects follow a controlled, step-by-step process. First, we clean and prepare all metal surfaces to ensure proper adhesion. Next, we apply pretreatment when needed to further improve corrosion resistance and bonding.
After preparation, we apply the powder evenly using electrostatic equipment. Then, we cure the coated parts in an oven to create a hardened finish. Once cured, we inspect each component for full coverage and quality. Finally, we prepare the finished parts for delivery or integrate them into final assemblies.
This process ensures consistent color, even coverage, and long-term protection across every project.
Why powder coating is ideal:
- It provides durable, long-lasting surface protection
- It resists chipping, fading, and corrosion over time
- It delivers consistent, high-quality finishes across parts
- It works well for both interior and exterior applications
- It integrates seamlessly with custom fabrication workflows
