Pipe Dreams

Project description:

Pipe Dreams is an interactive sculpture at a skate park that nods to the legendary 1970s Arizona skate spot, Desert Pipes. Three big steel pipes give the park a striking visual punch, while also doubling as a skateable feature. The center pipe becomes a hangout spot, complete with a tiled bench and a perforated steel mural inspired by the swimming pools that were also a hotspot for skateboarding back in the day.
