Project Description:

For the Antelope Shade Screen at Grand Canyon University, Magnum Companies fabricated the custom fin and louver panels for Architekton, using waterjet cutting to precisely form the distinctive profiles. The screen provides shade from the morning sun while serving as a bold visual element that reflects the pride and identity of the GCU Lopes. Inside, the metal panels contrast with traditional brick to add a modern edge, while outside they interact with Arizona’s intense sunlight to create depth and movement. The combination of color and profile helps bridge the campus’s existing architecture with a crisp, contemporary expression as the university advanced its transition to Division I athletics.
